The name of this dish translates to "army base stew" and is rooted in war-time Korea when poverty was high and US army rations served as more accessible food options. It is now a quintessential Korean dish that often calls for a glass of soju to accompany it. This dish will be delivered uncooked with cooking instructions. Serve with rice and/or add some ramen noodles from your pantry!
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Arrange all ingredients (except the noodles and cheese) into a wide pot/pan, add broth, and cook on high heat for about 5-10 minutes. No need to stir often (or at all!) and let the ingredients simmer and absorb some broth. Add in noodles right before turning off the heat and top with the slice of cheese.
